in which thermoplastics are specifically useful: corrosion protection, electrical insulation and chemical resistance.

of corrosion protection, thermoplastics have been shown not only to withstand

severe outdoor environments, but also to retain thier fresh appearance, in other words they keep their colour and are UV resistant. This in turn reduces the need for maintenance,
